Public or Private Profile
I don't want my profile to be public. How do I make it private?
Billetto is an event community where you can follow organisers and events, as well as share the events you attend. If you prefer not to have a public profile, you can easily make it private through your account settings.
By default, your name may appear on public guest lists on event pages. If you created your account using Facebook, your profile picture may also be visible.
How to make your profile private
- Log in to your Billetto account
- Click Menu
- Select Public Profile
- Scroll down to Privacy Settings
- Select Private
- Click Save
What happens when I make my profile private?
When you make your profile private:
- Your name will no longer be visible on public guest lists on event pages.
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other Billetto users.
- Search engines such as Google will eventually remove your profile from their search results.
Please note that it may take some time for search engines to update their results. If you would like to speed up the process, you can, for example, contact Google directly here.
If you later decide to make your profile public again, simply follow the same steps and select Public under Privacy Settings.
