Q2 2022 - updated event page design, event cancellation process, and an improved event creation process on the way
In the Q2 of 2022 we have focused on improving fewer, but essential details of our product, which brings organisers and ticket buyers new experiences.
New event page
In May we introduced a new event page design that provides ticket buyers with a much clearer and structured event information overview. Here’s what we’ve done:
- Event location and time in one place;
- More fun and festive view of event attendees;
- Improved image display;
- Added FAQ section with popular questions;
- A full calendar view for multi-day events;
- Reduced the limit of event images (banner), but left plenty of space for all the visuals in the description;
But why did we do that? We did the research. We listened to the feedback. And what do we want? Minimum effort, maximum ticket sales. For similar product pages, we saw less confusion and a higher click-through rate – so what's not to like?

Event cancellation process
Some of our organisers may have already gotten familiar with this new improvement, but for those who didn’t - here’s what this is about.
From now on, when cancelling an event, all organisers will be asked to submit a reason for cancellation from a provided dropdown list. This improvement was made in order to get to know our organiser and industry even better, as well as see how we can improve our platform in the future to help with each of these reasons.

Improved event creator (coming soon!)
Out with the old and in with the new! Our new and improved event creator is coming to you very soon. The design matches the rest of the organiser universe and the event creation flow has never been this easy.
When can you expect it? We plan a gradual release of the new event creator across all our markets and United Kingdom organisers will be the first ones to get their hands on it.
The release of the new event creator is planned to start in a short couple of weeks and we will communicate about the change through our platform and email.
Billetto Advertising improvements
We continuously work on our own advertising solution to ensure information transparency, value, and quality of Billetto Advertising.
This quarter we worked to expand our media partner network and advertising channels which allows us to advertise your event even further and bring a higher volume of traffic to your event page.
Additionally, we have added extra communication points across the platform which inform you that your event is being advertised. However, if you missed it - don’t worry. Your event sales overview provides all the information you need about Billetto Advertising, as well as allows you to manage it to make it custom.
