Sync your Billetto events with your Spotify profile

As part of the benefits of using Billetto Advertising, you can now sync your events with your Spotify artist profile, making it easier for fans to discover your upcoming events while listening to your music.

Why connect your events to Spotify?

Spotify is an important place for fans to discover not only music, but also upcoming live events. By syncing your Billetto events with your Spotify profile, you can increase the visibility of your events and help turn listeners into ticket buyers.

With the integration, you can:

  • Increase the visibility of your upcoming events on Spotify
  • Reach fans who are already listening to your music
  • Make it easier for potential attendees to discover your events
  • Direct interested fans to your Billetto event page, where they can purchase tickets

How to sync your event with Spotify

Getting your event onto your Spotify artist profile is easy. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to your event in Billetto.
  2. In the menu on the left, select Customisation & Design.
  3. Go to Event Page → Headliner.
  4. Click Add new headliner.
  5. Enter the artist's name, title, and Spotify ID.
  6. Click the Upload button to save the information.

Once this has been done, your event will be synced with Spotify and can appear on the artist's Spotify profile.

What will be shown on Spotify?

Once the event has been successfully synced, visitors to the artist's Spotify profile will be able to see key information about the event, including:

  • Event name
  • Date and time
  • Venue name and address

A ticket purchase button will also be displayed. When a fan clicks this button, they will be directed to the event page on Billetto, where they can purchase their tickets.

What do I need?

To sync an event with Spotify, make sure that:

  • Your event is published on Billetto
  • You are using Billetto Advertising for the event
  • You have added the correct artist as a headliner
  • The artist has a Spotify artist profile
  • You have entered the correct Spotify ID

How to find your Spotify Artist ID

To connect your event to the correct artist profile, you'll need the artist's Spotify Artist ID. You can find it in just a few steps:

  1. Open the Spotify app or Spotify Web Player.
  2. Search for and open the relevant artist profile.
  3. Click or tap the three dots (...) next to the artist's name.
  4. Select Share → Copy link to artist.
  5. Paste the copied link into a text field or your browser.
  6. Your Spotify Artist ID is the 22-character combination of letters and numbers that appears directly after /artist/ and before any ? in the URL.

Spotify Artist ID:
5I4eibDkC7gg0hmczTZuND

Copy this ID and paste it into the Spotify ID field when adding the headliner to your Billetto event.

 

Please note: You can only sync your events with Spotify at the individual event level. It is currently not possible to sync all events on your Billetto account with Spotify at once. Events must be synced individually, one event at a time.
