What are Billetto’s ticket fees and payment processing fee?
It is always free to create an event on Billetto. The fees that apply depend on whether your event is free or paid.
What fees are applied for a free event?
There will be a platform fee for the ticket buyer.
What fees are applied for a paid event?
- Ticketing fee
- Billetto Advertising fee (optional)
- Transaction fee (optional)
What is a ticketing fee?
The ticketing fee is a fee that applies to each ticket purchased through Billetto.
The ticket fee is always paid by the ticket buyer.
As an organiser, you can choose how the ticket fee is presented to the ticket buyer:
- Added to the price: The ticket buyer pays the ticket price plus the ticket fee.
- Included in the price: The ticket buyer pays one total price, with the ticket fee already included in that amount. The ticket fee is then deducted from the ticket price before your event payout is made.
In both cases, the ticket buyer pays the ticket fee. The difference is simply whether the fee is Added to the price or Included in the price.

What is the Billetto Advertising fee?
Billetto Advertising is our native advertising solution within the platform. It is enabled by default on every event unless you choose to disable it. Billetto advertises your event across its own media channels, such as Google, newsletters, social media, our front page, and more.
Billetto Advertising charges a fee of 33% for tickets acquired through our advertising efforts.

What is the transaction fee?
As an organiser, you can enable additional payment methods for your account, such as PayPal and Klarna.
These payment methods come with their own fee, which is applied to each transaction. You can enable or disable additional payment methods under Customisation & Design > Payment methods when managing your event.
Can I get a discount on my fees?
If your event is a charity event and has a registered organisation, please contact our support team at support@billetto.com, and we can look into the possibility of a reduced fee.
