What are Billetto’s ticket fees and payment processing fee?
It is always FREE to create an event on Billetto, however, the event fee depends if the event is free of charge or if it is paid.
What fees are applied for a free event?
There are no fees applied for the events that are free to attend.
What fees are applied for the paid event?
- Ticketing fee;
- Billetto Advertising fee (optional);
- Transaction fee (optional);
What is a ticketing fee?
The ticketing fee is a small percentage of the ticket price that Billetto charges for each ticket purchased through Billetto. The ticketing fee can be passed on to the ticket buyer or absorbed by the organiser:
- Pass on the fee to the ticket buyer
- If you choose to let the ticket buyer pay the fee, this will be added on top of the ticket price so that the ticket buyer pays for the ticket price and Billetto's fee.
- Absorb the fee as an organiser
- If you choose to include the fee in the ticket price, the ticket buyer will only pay the ticket price. When the ticket sale is over the sum of the fees will be deducted from the full event revenue.

What is Billetto Advertising fee?
Billetto Advertising is our native advertising solution within the platform which is enabled by default on every event unless you choose to disable it. Billetto advertises your event across its own media channels such as Google, newsletter, social media, our front page, and more.
Billetto Advertising charges a fee of 33% for tickets acquired via our advertising efforts.

What is the transaction fee?
As an organiser, you can allow adding multiple payment methods to your accounts, such as Paypal and Klarna.
These payment methods come with their own fee which is applied for each transaction. You can enable or disable additional payment methods under the Customisation & Design > Payment methods section when managing your event.
Can I get a discount on my fees?
Only charity events are eligible for the ticketing fee discount. If you have a charity event, please contact our customer support at support@billetto.com to receive more information.
