[Optional] Using seating sections - for larger venues

[Optional] Using seating sections - for larger venues

If you have a large sports venue or theatre, this feature lets you group different areas into separate sections to help your ticket buyers navigate them.

Tools

The Main tools (options on the left-hand side) you will be using are:

  • Select (V) - This allows you to click on objects and access their settings;
  • Section (S) - This allows you to create a seated area;
  • General Admissions (GA)  - This allows you to create an area with no assigned seating.

General Admission

General Admission lets you create an area with no specifically assigned seats. This is great for standing areas or if you do not want to manage individual seats.

To use this, click the GA tool and choose the type you'd like to use (Rectangle, Circle, or Custom). Once you have selected this, draw your desired shape. Now use the Select Tool (the Cursor icon) and click the Section. On the right-hand side, you will have the option to change the Label, Capacity, and Category. Make sure all 3 are set up before continuing.

Section

The Section tool lets you create an area with assigned seats. Create the section using the instructions above. Now use the Select Tool (the Cursor icon) and single click to change Label, Capacity, and Category. Double-click to zoom in on the section. You will be taken inside the area and will need to create rows. For more information, general-purpose guide.
