For the main article about canceling normal non-recurring events, see here.
When you create and change the settings for your events, you need to be aware of two things:
-
Parent events (stores all the shared information between all the time slots that are being created) - all settings are inherited down to all-time slots.
-
Timeslots (individual events for each time/date you want to sell tickets)- here settings are set for the individual event only.
Cancel all timeslots
To cancel all of your recurring events, go to 'My Events' at the top right and click the trash can (cancel) on your parent event. When you do this an automatic email will be sent to ticket buyers and us regarding the cancellation. As an organizer, you also have the opportunity to write a personal message before you cancel the event completely. We recommend including will why the event has been canceled and future dates will be published.
By canceling your event you, the organiser, are giving Billetto the rights (but not the obligation) to refund all customers who have purchased tickets to your event. It remains your responsibility, as the event organiser, to inform customers of the refund policy and that your customers will be reimbursed.
In most cases, when you cancel your event, Billetto will automatically refund all attendees on your behalf.
Should your event account balance not cover the full refund amount for your event, then please contact us before canceling your event, as the standard refund procedure cannot be observed.
