      What is Stripe Connect?

      Stripe connect allows you to receive your ticket sale revenue as your customers buy from you the money is sent straight to your Stripe account.

       

      Any relevant Billetto ticketing and transaction fees will be subtracted and seen on your account as an “Application fee”. This can include the ticket buyers purchase of Insurance, SMS, Charity donations and more. You can view a breakdown between Billetto Application Fees and Stripe Fees in your dashboard.

       

      What payment methods can use Stripe connect?

      Currently Card Payments, Klarna, Google Pay and Apple Pay are usable through Stripe connect. We’re looking to extend this functionality further in the future. Keep your eyes peeled!

       

      If you continue to choose to use other payment methods like Paypal, Swish, MobilePay and Vipps - they cannot be paid out through Stripe Connect and will be sent to you as a regular event payout after the event completion.

      How does it work

      You’ll need to set up a Stripe account and then visit our Stripe Connect page to get started. 

      • Go to Menu; 
      • Then Integrate;
      • Then Stripe Connect;
      • Click Connect account;
      • Follow the instructions on Stripe

      Once you have set this up, all future payments will go through Stripe Connect. Orders purchased this way will be shown in the Manage Orders page by a Label stating "Stripe Connect".

      Orders or Memberships that were placed before Stripe connect is enabled cannot be paid out that way and will be paid out with Billetto Bank Transfer in line with the standard process.

       

       

      Stripe Connect Revenue will show in your Revenue Overview breakdown as External payout.

       

      Enabling/Disabling Stripe Connect

      You have the option to disable/enable Stripe connect at any time. Once disabled future orders will flow normally through Billetto's Payout process (3-5 days after event completion) and when Enabled future orders will go directly to your Stripe connect account. Please note that recurring payments like subscriptions will continue on the method the purchase was originally made on.

       

       

      What are the fees?

      Stripe has additional fees to process payments which you can learn more about here. This will occur on top of the Billetto fee.

       

      Refunding and Canceling Events

      When canceling and/or refunding orders, make sure you have enough money on your Stripe Connect account by adding funds. Otherwise Stripe will automatically attempt to collect from your account. Learn more here
