How do I sell tickets at the door?

You can sell tickets through our door selling solution, this is available for both iOS and Android devices, as well as computers. However, we recommend that you use our Billetto mobile application.

This can be downloaded for iOS devices in App Store (We have a separate optimised iPad version) and for Android in Google Play Store.

Sell tickets through the Billetto app

iOS/Android devices

Open Billetto mobile application;
Press Enter Organiser Key (If you are already logged in, click the cog icon then choose Enter Organiser Key);
Enter your Organiser Key and a Terminal name (The terminal name is used for your internal use to know which person/device is selling) and click Login;
Click on Sell at the top, and then click on the event you wish to sell for;
On this page, you will be on our Box Office ticket sales page. Select the number of ticket types you wish by tapping the ticket type;
Click the Basket (in the top right) when you are ready to complete the order;
If the ticket buyer requires the ticket sent to them (if so then click Set Email, and enter their email address) and click Done;
Choose either "Cash" or "Card" Payment and Confirm;

NOTE: for Door Sales, Billetto cannot manage physical card payments and this must be done externally. The Box Office system is used for the management of the guest list and ticket generation.

Sell tickets via computer

Visit Our Web Event Manager;
Enter Organiser Key and a Terminal name (The terminal name is used for your internal use to know which person/device is selling) and click Login;
Find the event you wish to sell for and click Till;
On this page, you will be on our Box Office ticket sales page. Select the number of ticket types you wish;
On the right-hand side choose either "Cash" or "Card" Payment

NOTE: for Door Sales, Billetto cannot manage physical card payments and this must be done externally. The Box Office system is used for the management of the guest list and ticket generation.

In the popup choose if the ticket buyer requires the ticket sent to them (if so then click Send receipt to Customer, and enter their name and email address);
Choose between Entrance now or Entrance Later (Entrance now will scan the ticket in as you make the purchase, preventing the barcode from being reused. Entrance later allows for the ticket buyer to be scanned in at a later time).

Sell tickets through a QR code at the door

You can make it even easier to sell tickets at the door by generating a QR code for your event page that can be scanned at the door by waiting for guests. By scanning the QR code at the entrance, people can purchase tickets to your event and skip the queue.

Hang or place a framed poster at the entrance with the QR code containing the link to your event page. You can generate a QR code for the event page through our Smart Links function.

How do I sell tickets at the door?
