This tool enables you to send newsletters, promotional content, and crucial event updates directly from your Billetto dashboard. By leveraging this feature, you can build a more loyal community, keep your audience engaged, and drive sales for your events.

Accessing the Email Feature

To access the email feature, simply navigate to the top bar in your Billetto account and click on "Promote" -> "Email." This section is your gateway to crafting and managing your email communications.

From here you will have the option to create an email campaign.

Types of Emails You Can Send

Billetto offers three distinct types of emails to cater to your specific communication needs:

  1. Newsletters: Keep your audience informed about your upcoming events by sending out newsletters. You can send these emails to all your newsletter subscribers on Billetto, or segment your messages to target fans, followers, or superfans specifically. This is an excellent way to share upcoming events, insights, and stories to keep your audience engaged.

  2. Event Notification: This type of email is crucial for communicating non-marketing messages to all ticket buyers of an active event. Whether it’s a last-minute change in schedule, venue updates, or important reminders, event notifications ensure your attendees are well-informed.

  3. Remarketing: Re-engage past attendees by sending them targeted communications about your upcoming events. This type of email is perfect for reaching out to newsletter subscribers who have previously attended specific events, helping to rekindle their interest and boost ticket sales.

Choosing Your Audience (Recipients)

Select your email type to reach out to different groups within your community. Use the dropdown menu to pick who you'd like to message.

  • Newsletter Emails: Target specific followers like Fans, Super Fans, One-Time Buyers, or all. Perfect for sharing discount offers or news to engage your community.

  • Event Notification: Notify all attendees of a specific event or across all your current events. Ideal for important updates. Remember, this is for essential info only.

  • Remarketing Messages: Reach out to people who've attended your events before and have agreed to receive marketing emails. Choose an event or all to reconnect.

Customising Your Email (Button Link)

Add a personal touch to your emails with these options:

  • Link to Your Organiser Profile: Showcase all your events in one click.

  • Direct to Event Details: Make it easy for ticket buyers to learn more or purchase tickets to a specific event.

These choices affect the main image and the button in your email, guiding your audience to where you want them to go.

Email Performance Tracking

For each email sent, Billetto provides detailed insights into its performance. Organisers can view metrics such as delivery rates, click rates, open rates, and sales generated from each email. These insights are invaluable for understanding your audience's engagement and refining your email marketing strategies.

Understanding Your Monthly Email Limit

Each month, you're given a set number of emails that can be sent out to your community. This cap is designed to ensure all communications through our platform are impactful and reach their intended recipients effectively.

How Does It Work?

Let's say your monthly limit is 500 emails. If in a single month you launch two different email campaigns:

  • A newsletter sent to 120 people
  • An event notice sent to 270 people

Following these campaigns, you'll have 110 emails remaining for the rest of the month. This system ensures that each message you send out counts and encourages thoughtful, targeted communication.

Why Have a Limit?

We aim to uphold the highest possible email reputation. By making sure every email sent through our platform is legitimate, wanted, and not considered spam, we maintain a positive email ecosystem. This commitment helps guarantee that your messages are warmly received, landing in inboxes, not spam folders.

Need More Capacity?

We understand that your communication needs may evolve, especially as your community grows or during peak event seasons. If you find yourself needing a higher limit, we're here to support you

Important Guidelines

Billetto is committed to maintaining a respectful and consent-based communication platform. As such, it's crucial to note that:

  • The email feature is intended solely for communication to those who have given consent for newsletters or if sending an event notification then it must be without any marketing material.
  • Ensure that your email communications are directed only to users who have consented to receive marketing messages.
  • Billetto prohibits the use of this feature for unsolicited marketing or spam.
  • At any time Billetto can choose to not deliver an email

By adhering to these guidelines, you contribute to a positive and respectful environment for both organisers and attendees on Billetto.

Conclusion

Billetto’s email feature is a powerful tool for organisers looking to promote their events, engage with their audience, and build a loyal community. By understanding and utilizing the different types of emails available, you can enhance your communication strategy and achieve greater success for your events. Remember to respect your audience's preferences and consent, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
