Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Billetto Advertising

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Billetto Advertising

1. How do I get started using Billetto Advertising?

There’s no extra work needed, by default all events and accounts opt-in. However, you can control if you want to have it enabled per event or across all of your events. Read more about managing Billetto Advertising.

2. How much do I pay upfront for this service?

Nothing. We understand that a separate upfront marketing budget isn’t always available when ticket sales begin, so, our solution is risk-free & no cure - no pay. If you sell all the tickets without help from Billetto Advertising you only pay the standard ticketing fee. We only charge you when Billetto directly sells a ticket through our advertising channels.

3. How does Billetto Advertising work?

On average, we have helped organisers sell 20% of their tickets across Billetto.

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, we know how to promote events. With our advanced algorithms and marketing efforts, we help sell your tickets through our community, recommendations engine, media ads, and third-party publishers.

4. Can I use Billetto Advertising for a brief period to help boost ticket sales?

Of course! You’re in control of Billetto Advertising settings at all times. You can re-enable or disable Billetto advertising at any time. If you think your event needs an extra boost, then Billetto Advertising is there to help.

5. I have my own promotion and marketing plan, what do I do?

If you have your own promotion and marketing plan and don’t need additional help to sell your tickets then you can disable Billetto Advertising. Found in Sales Overview on Event and Promote -> Billetto Advertising on the account.

6. Can I see how this works and track sales myself?

Transparency is important to us, sales are tracked through attribution. You can clearly see what the attribution is per order in the Reports.

7. Will you sell out my event?

On average, Billetto has helped organisers to sell 20% more tickets throughout advertising efforts. We can't promise anything, but we do promise to give your event visibility you'd otherwise miss out on.

8. I enabled Billetto Advertising but I can't see any sales?

If you haven’t made any sales, we recommend taking some time to update and improve your event page: adding more to the description, making sure you have a good image, and that the name of your event makes sense and is easily searched. If there are no sales made through Billetto Advertising by the time your event starts, you will not be charged anything extra.

9. I want to stop Billetto Advertising after we’ve reached certain sales, how can I?

You can do this at any time on the Event or Account level. You can also set the limit for the number of tickets you want Billetto Advertising to sell. Simply adjust the limit in "Settings" on the Billetto Advertising widget.
