How do I cancel free tickets on my event?

If a ticket buyer has booked a free ticket for your event and wants to cancel the ticket, there are two possibilities

  • The ticket buyer cancels the ticket himself inside his Ticket Account (this function you can deactivate or adjust how long before the event this should be possible, read more here);
  • You as the organizer cancel the ticket inside the event by following the steps below.

To cancel free tickets to your event, you need either an e-mail address, name, or order ID (the information can be found in the order confirmation that is sent with the ticket).


Canceled free ticket on event level:

  • Click on  My events  in the menu at the top right;
  • Select the event in question and click Manage (For Recurring events click Manage All );
  • Click on  Audience  in the menu on the left and then click on  Manage all orders;
  • Find the order in question and click  Information  on the right side of it;
  • You now have two options, either you can cancel the entire order or individual tickets.
    • Cancel entire order :
      • Click on the Cancel all tickets button at the top of the page
    • Cancel specific tickets :
      • Scroll down the page for tickets and click in the box in front of the tickets that you want to cancel. Click Cancel

Cancel free ticket at account level:

  • Click  Manage  in the top menu and then Audiences; 
  • Click  Orders  in the submenu;
  • Find the order in question and click Information on the right side of it;
  • You now have two options, either you can cancel the entire order or individual tickets.
    • Cancel entire orders :
      • Click on the Cancel all tickets at the top of the page - Cancel specific tickets: Scroll down the page for tickets and click in the box in front of the tickets you want to cancel.
