Chat Agent

You can now create one or more chat widgets (also known as virtual support agents) and embed them on your own website(s).

This new feature does not impact any existing functionality. It’s an optional tool that you and other organizers can start using whenever you want. There’s no rush, and nothing in your current setup will break or change.

The chat agent appears as an icon in a color and style you choose — just like other chat widgets you may have seen.

It will do its best to answer questions from users (potential ticket buyers), based on:

  • Information from your events on Billetto

  • Content from your own website, if you enable crawling in the settings

This all takes place using AI, of course.

 

Go to the "Sell" menu and then click on "Chat Agent".

Click Create new

When you set up a new chat widget, the instructions on the screen (incl. the guide on the right hand side) will guide you.

Enter all the information and click "Save". Then click on the name of the chat widget, and you will see your chat widget script on the right-hand side.

Like all other widget types, it's basically so simple that you adjust settings as preferred, then copy the script and put it in the HTML code of your website

After clicking Save, you will have several options:

  • Active
    Decides if the chat widget can be shown or not.

  • Widget name
    Only used for your in-house reference if you have multiple chat widgets.

  • Website domain
    The chat widget will only be live on this domain.

  • Color theme
    Your chat widget will mainly be designed with this color.

  • Icon
    What users will see and click to open the chat.

  • Language
    Language used for text in your chat widget.

  • Placement
    Where the chat widget will appear at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tone of voice
    The tone in which replies from the AI should be written.

  • Welcome message
    The first message that will be displayed when opening the chat.

  • Fallback message
    Message shown if the AI cannot find information or is in doubt.

When you make changes to the chat agent, you will see the changes immediately on your website. You do not need to re-add the embed code to your site after changes — it updates automatically.

 

Once embedded, the chat widget will appear and do its best to serve the user with answers based on all the available information.

Even if your language setting is set to English, the chat agent is designed to automatically recognize the language you write in and respond accordingly. For example, if you ask a question in Danish or Spanish, the agent will detect this and reply in the same language – ensuring a more natural and user-friendly experience

In the settings of the widget, in the bottom section, you decide whether the widget should use information from all events (DEFAULT: if you do not adjust these settings, all public events will be used) or only some. If you want to include information from past events, you will need to actively select them from the list.

Lastly, you decide whether you want the chat widget to crawl your own website for data also - and also allows you to select whether individual sub pages should be included or excluded,once crawled.

After you have registered a website in your chat agent, you cannot change the website you have registered.
The only way to add a new website is by creating a new chat agent.
