Hardware and software

The Billetto POS system (version 2.0 and above) requires minimum two pieces of hardware to be run - while the third piece of hardware (printer) is optional.


Mandatory:

  • Tablet, smartphone or computer to run the POS software
  • Payment terminal (Castle AMS1 with Adyen, ordered through Billetto)

Optional:

  • Printer for receipts and QR codes to be printed at the door

The POS software is an integrated part of the Billetto software suite. It is launched by adding /pos after your normal billetto web address, i.e.

Etc.

In order to log in and get started, simply insert the organizer key you have created inside Billetto (if you are an organizer yourself) or the organizer key you have received from the organizer (if you are staff).

Getting started and ordering hardware

Get started with this two weeks before you want to start using POS!

Payment terminal

Currently as per February 2026:

  • Reach out to your Billetto commercial contact (account executive/customer success manager) or to Billetto Support
  • Billetto will help you receive an Adyen account. This is required for using POS. “Adyen” is a global payment service provider, where you will get your own dedicated account to use directly with Billetto. This is not complex: You will not get a new bank or an extra bank account to keep track of. It is just an account that your POS and Billetto revenue will be transferred to before reaching your bank.
  • Getting an Adyen account is easy and takes 15 minutes to upload some documents, then 2-3 days of processing time typically. Billetto guides you all the way.
  • You order the Adyen terminal at your Billetto commercial contact or at Billetto Support. You will receive it ready for use within 6-8 working days after order.

Printer

  • You can also order the printer from your Billetto commercial contact (account executive/customer success manager) or Billetto Support.
  • If you do that, you will receive it ready for use along with the payment terminal.
