Customising the "Pricing from" on Event page

Customising the "Pricing from" on Event page

Introduction

The "Pricing from" feature on your event page is designed to showcase the lowest available ticket price to potential attendees. By default, this feature automatically selects the cheapest ticket option. However, there may be instances where the cheapest option (like a free child ticket) is not representative of the general ticket prices. To address this, you can manually set which ticket price to highlight as "Pricing from". This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to customize this setting.

Step-by-Step Guide to Customize "Pricing From"

  1. Log In to Your Account and navigate where to do the update

Click on My Events and then click Manage event on the event you want to update.
Click on tab called  Customizations & Designs and thereafter click on Event page.
Scroll down to the Pricing from Section. This section allows you to choose which ticket type's price will be displayed as the starting price.

  2. Select the Ticket Type:

    • You will see a list of all the ticket types available for your event (e.g., Adult, Child, VIP, etc.). Select the ticket type that you want to feature as the "Pricing from". This is typically the ticket that best represents the entry price for most attendees (for example, the adult ticket price).

  3. Save Your Changes:

    • After selecting the desired ticket type, make sure to click Save to apply your changes. Your event page will now display "Pricing from" with the price of the ticket type you selected.

Important Notes:

  • Visibility: The "Pricing from" price is one of the first details potential attendees will see, so it's important to choose a price that accurately represents the cost of attending your event.
  • Updates: If you change your ticket prices or add new ticket types, remember to revisit this setting to ensure that the "Pricing from" price is still appropriate.
  • Multiple Events: If you manage multiple events, you'll need to customize this setting for each event individually.

Conclusion

Customizing the "Pricing from" setting helps you better control the pricing message that potential attendees see first. This can prevent misunderstandings and provide a clearer picture of the event costs, enhancing the ticket buying experience. Follow these simple steps to ensure your event page reflects the most accurate and effective pricing information.
