Public, Private, and Draft Events

When creating a Billetto event, you can decide whether it should be public or private, and you can schedule your event to automatically publish on a set date  and time, or save it as a draft if you’re not ready to publish it yet.

Public or Private?

In the Basics section during your event creation, you’ll find the option to set your event’s visibility:

  • Public: Your event will be visible to all ticket buyers across the Billetto platform. It will also be eligible for Billetto Advertising (an optional default feature – red more about Billetto Advertisng here).

  • Private: Your event will only be visible to you and to people you share your event link with.

Once you’ve made your choice, click Continue to Time & location.

Publish or Save as Draft

In the final step or your event creation, at the bottom of the page, you can choose:

  • Publish now: Your event will go live as soon as your click.

  • Schedule: Set the event to automatically publish on a set date and time.
  • Draft: Your event will be saved with all the details you’ve entered, but it will not be visible or available for ticket sales until you publish it.
