Ticket groups - managing multiple ticket types

By using ticket groups, you can organize your tickets into groups, manage capacity across groups, and take advantage of a range of other useful features.

Here are some examples of when this feature is beneficial:

  • For events that run over multiple days and have multiple ticket types of the same kind (managing capacity for day and/or weekend tickets).
  • Organizing your ticket types into groups for a better overview.
  • Managing capacity across groups and ticket types.
  • Separating admission tickets and merchandise tickets (for example, if you have 3 admission tickets and 3 meal vouchers, etc.).

This feature should NOT be used if you only have one ticket type, or if you have one admission ticket and one food ticket.

How to Create a Ticket Group

  1. Log in to your Billetto account.
  2. Go to My Billetto and create a new event or edit an existing one.
  3. Create the ticket types you need.
  4. Click Add Ticket Group.
  5. Choose a name for the ticket group.
  6. Select the ticket types that should be included in the group.
  7. If you need to set a maximum capacity for the group, enter it in the Maximum Capacity for Ticket Group field.

If you already have a ticket group set up and create another one, you will also have the following option:

  1. Share Group Capacity with Other Ticket Groups

If you want one group to be included in another group's capacity, select the relevant ticket groups under Synchronize Group Capacity with Another Ticket Group. This is optional, but if you want capacity to be managed across groups, you need to connect the groups that should share capacity to prevent overselling your event.

If you need to edit a group, click the box with the three dots to the right of the ticket group's name and then select Edit. The same applies if you want to delete a group.
