What are the Billetto ticket types I can create?
Currently, you can choose between 7 ticket types in Billetto.
1. Paid ticket
The most common ticket type, used for paid event registrations and admissions. You can set both the ticket price and the number of tickets available for sale. By clicking Advanced Options beneath the price field, you can choose whether Billetto’s fee should be included in the ticket price or added on top of it. A ticket fee always applies to this ticket type.
2. Donation
If you are hosting a charity event or similar fundraiser, you may wish to collect donations before the event begins. Your attendees can choose how much they would like to donate before receiving their ticket. Ticket fees apply to this ticket type, and you can choose whether the fee should be included in the donation amount or added on top of it.
Billetto’s fee for donation tickets is lower than for standard paid tickets and consists only of a fixed fee, rather than the usual fixed fee plus a percentage of the ticket price.
If you would like to set a fixed donation amount, you can instead use the Ticket type and simply rename it to “Donation.”
3. Sign-up
Use this option if you do not want to sell tickets but simply want to know how many attendees to expect. A platform fee will apply to the ticket buyer.
4. Free Ticket
Use this option if you are hosting a free event but wish to manage attendance numbers due to venue capacity or similar considerations. A platform fee will apply to the ticket buyer.
5. Box Office Collection
Use this option if you operate your own box office but would still like to process payments online. Ticket buyers will not receive a ticket from Billetto; instead, they can collect your own tickets at the designated location. Ticket fees apply to this ticket type, and you can choose whether the fee should be included in the ticket price or added on top of it.
6. Add-ons
Add-ons are a Billetto feature that allows you to sell items such as merchandise, food, or drinks after a customer has purchased a ticket. Read more here
7. Create Package
Ticket packages are a feature designed for event organisers who want to simplify the purchasing process for their attendees. Whether you are creating a family package, offering a combined dinner-and-show experience with two or more separate package item, each with its own ticket, or managing scenarios involving split VAT rates, ticket packages can help streamline the process.
