When you postpone an event, Billetto will hold all ticket revenue until the event completion. The change gives ticket buyers the right to a refund, which you will need to process yourself (we do not automatically cancel the event or refund all ticket buyers). See how to process refunds here.
How to Postpone
- Click on My Billetto in the left bar
- Find the event you want and click on Manage then Postpone. Please note if you have a recurring event you will need to postpone each timeslot individually
- Choose the updated time/date or select No date yet if you do not have a rescheduled date.
- Add a message which will be sent to the ticket buyers, about why the postponement happened and any other potentially useful information.
- Then click Postpone. Please note that this email will not be sent to users you have manually generated tickets for
We recommend you also add information about the postponement in the event description for both potential new buyers and existing ticket holders.
Note: If you have selected No date yet, you can update your event with the new date/time once it’s decided by following the same process above. This will also notify your ticket buyers. Please note that simply editing the event in other ways will not trigger a notification.
