How do I create a membership?

It is quite simple to create a membership event, as we have tried to keep the design and interface similar to when you create a regular event, therefore, the process should feel familiar. 

 

Step-by-step guide

  • Log in to Billetto;
  • Click on Create then Membership;
  • Now choose which subscription type you would like to offer your customers (monthly subscription or one-off payment) and click Continue;
    • In the case of a monthly subscription payment, the amount is automatically deducted from the customer's card once a month until the customer cancels the membership;
    • In the case of a one-off payment, the customer pays the amount once in advance when the purchase is made
  • Complete the steps as you would with an event, proceeding between steps until the Plans step;
  • Click Create new plan - Name your membership under the Plan name, set the price, quantity of the memberships and click Next;
    • Remember, if you have different memberships (ex. gold, silver, bronze, etc.) you have to create a plan for each of them. 
  • Complete the final steps and choose to either Save as draft or Publish;
  • Under Design & Customisation and Membership Plans, you can set up the minimum contract period and the notice period for memership termination;
    • Under the minimum contract period enter the number of payments a customer must make before being able to cancel a subscription. Leave blank to disable;
    • Under the notice period enter the number of payments a customer must make after cancelling a membership. Leave blank to disable.
  • Click Save;
    • NOTE: It is not possible to combine the minimum contract period and the notice period and you have to choose between one or the other depending on the membership plan. This setting is only available for monthly memberships;
  • Check your membership and see if there is anything that needs to be corrected or further customised;
  • You can also check the ticket buyer view by clicking on Visit;
NOTE: Membership payments can only be made with Google/Apple Pay or Card.


NOTE: You always access your membership event by clicking Manage in the top bar, then Memberships.
